Lake Cowichan Food Bank enters competition to secure new home

The Lake Cowichan Food Bank has entered the Aviva Community Fund competition in the hopes of landing the $100,000 grand prize for a new home.
The executive director of the non-profit organization is Betty Sanddar.
She says you can vote for the food bank at the Aviva Community Fund website.
Sanddar says they are currently located at the Lake Cowichan Christian Fellowship church, however, the building is up for sale.
She adds until the building is sold the food bank is allowed to operate out of the church.
