Efforts continue in Crofton to get an effective Block Watch program in place.
At a meeting held back in August, a number of active Block Watches were established and the plan is to get some more going in an effort to prevent a rising tide of crime in the community.
Another meeting, with Carol-Ann Rolls of Cowichan Community Policing, is planned for tonight (Thurs).
It’s at the Crofton Community Centre beginning at 7.
