Halloween is a popular time of year for fireworks in our community, however, they are not allowed without a permit from the CVRD or from the Municipality of North Cowichan.
Permits won’t be issued within 500 metres of property that’s housing horses, cattle, sheep or other livestock.
In the CVRD, violating the bylaw can cost you up to 750 dollars.
