Regular Speed Limit, now in Effect on Malahat

The 34 million dollar Malahat Village Improvement Project is done and the speed limits have been adjusted.

In place of the construction speed zone, it’s now 80 kilometres an hour from Aspen Road to Shawnigan Lake Road, with a 70 kilometre an hour speed zone north of Goldstream Provincial Park.

The multi-million dollar construction project included median barriers, four-lane highway, wider shoulders, and lighting improvements.
