CVRD launching monthly sessions with local builders, developers

The Cowichan Valley Regional District is launching a series of one-hour Lunch n’ Learn sessions for local builders and developers.

The CVRD’s general manager of the planning and development department is Ross Blackwell.

He says the seminars will be taking place on the third Wednesday of every month with the first one scheduled for noon today at the District’s office.

Blackwell says the first topic discussed will be development application processes and requirements, which includes building permits, subdivision and re-zoning.
