Social Planning Cowichan offers one-day service hub for homeless

A Day of Community Services will be occurring on Wednesday at the Duncan United Church from 10 AM until 3 PM in light of Homelessness Action Week.

Social Planning Cowichan’s regional affordable housing coordinator is Joy Emmanuel.

She says homelessness is an issue that just won’t go away.

Emmanuel says more than 20 service providers will be in attendance to help local low income and homeless people.

Services include legal aid, dental care, counselling and foot care.
