Supply-management Town Hall, well Attended

More than 150 constituents showed up for a local food and supply-management town hall in Cobble Hill recently.

Federal NDP leader Jagmeet Singh joined the MP for Cowichan-Malahat-Langford Alistair MacGregor and held a discussion about the importance of the supply-managed sectors and the key to protecting the egg, dairy, and chicken farmers.

Local farmers asked the panellists questions and for their perspectives on the supply-managed sectors.

The panelists included BC Egg Farmers Director Jennifer Woike and Chris Groendyke who was representing the dairy farming industry.
