Ballot returns increasing

About 18 per cent of the registered voters have mailed their electoral reform ballot back to Elections BC.
British Columbians need to decide whether we keep the First Past the Post system or, opt instead for one of three proportional representation systems.
Cowichan Valley Green Party MLA Sonia Furstenau says the numbers are on par with those at this point during another BC referendum.
The Liberal MLA Parksville-Qualicum Michelle Stilwell says the issue of electoral reform should have been fleshed out by a citizens assembly and politicians should not have been involved.
The electoral reform mail-in ballot deadline is November 30th, but you can also return your ballot to any Referendum Service office or Service BC Centre throughout the province.
