Mainroad Contracting is working to make area roadways safer during the winter months.
Operations Manager Leon Bulmer said all the equipment is in place.
“We’ll be using a great deal of liquid brine application, it’s a quicker way to treat the roadway,” said Bulmer. “It does the same job, but it’s a lot faster response.”
 Bulmer is advising drivers to travel with extra caution and always be prepared for unpredictable weather conditions.
