Mount Washington Opening Soon

It’s been snowing on Mount Washington.
The ski and snowboard season is set to begin on December 7.

Spokesperson Sheila Rivers said the mountain has been getting hammered with large dumps of snow.
“It’s snowing heavily, we’re anticipating anywhere from 30 to 40 centimetres today with probably about 10 centimetres tomorrow,” said Rivers.
Mount Washington also has a tube park and cross-country skiing.
And new this year is ‘fat tire’ biking on the snow in the Nordic area.
