Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association Awarded Funding

The Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities and the Canadian Paralympic Committee have awarded the Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association with 20 thousand dollars in funding.

The riding association was one of 28 groups awarded and the 2018 Parasport Jumpstart Fund, where the money came from, focuses on enhancing opportunities for sport and play among children with disabilities.

The association will use the grant money to offset registration costs, maintaining non-prohibitive user fees in the process.
