Nanaimo RCMP looking for man accused of parole violations

Nanaimo RCMP have issued a warrant for a man accused of violating parole conditions.

They say 37 year old Ben Christian Moen of Nanaimo reportedly violated several conditions – including staying away from illegal drugs.

RCMP are hoping tips from the public will lead to his arrest, but Constable Gary O’Brien says because of previous crimes involving violence, Moen should not be approached.

O’Brien says Moen has contacts and family throughout the Nanaimo area, and may be driving a brown older model Honda Civic with the BC plate 568-MTG.

Moen is white, 6′ 1″, 175 pounds with short brown hair and hazel eyes. He also has several tattoos, including ones that spell “City of PITTY”… with an extra T in pity.

If you see him or know where he is call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. You can also send tips to www.nanaimocrimestoppers.com
