Hallowe'en: Spooky doesn't have to mean dangerous

Police are reminding everyone to have fun, but keep it safe as they celebrate Hallowe’en.

Inspector Ray Carfantan of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP says that means, first and foremost, being seen while you make your trick or treating rounds.

Carfantan says it’s also important to make sure kids have some adult supervision.  Another concern for RCMP is fireworks.

RCMP are also anticipating a busy Friday and Saturday as the adults head out to their parties, and they want people to remember to have a designated driver or another safe ride home.
