First day of advanced voting in local elections

Advance polls are open today (Nov 5) for residents of the Cowichan Valley interesting in casting their ballot early for the the municipal and school board elections.

Polls are open at the Duncan and North Cowichan municipal halls until 8pm. CVRD voters can make their mark at the Island Savings Centre.

The next advance polls are November 12th. The general election is Saturday the 15th.
