A Lake Cowichan family whose home has been a source of joy to many every holiday season have lost nearly everything in a serious fire.
Cristina Hawkins is a close friend of the Pilkington family whose house burned down in Lake Cowichan yesterday.
Cristina has already been in touch with Neiser Storage on Frontage Road- who has offered free space for donations of furniture and household goods.
You can also donate bottles at the Cowichan Valley Bottle Depot under the name Eileen Pilkington.
