Ian McAllister's book tour for Great Bear Wild to make stop in Duncan

An author is on a tour of Vancouver Island to promote his new book about the Great Bear Rainforest located on the central north coast of B-C.
Ian McAllister, who is also a conservationist and photographer, will be in Duncan on Thursday at the Quw’utsun’ Cultural and Conference Centre at 7 PM to launch his new book entitled Great Bear Wild.
He says there are many animals that he studied during his time in the one of the world’s last remaining untouched ecosystems.
 McAllister says the book is based on 25 years of research.
The next stop on his tour is tomorrow in Sidney.
