Vital Heart campaign officially underway in Cowichan Valley

The Cowichan Sportsplex launched the Vital Heart campaign yesterday at the Scotiabank in Duncan.
The facility’sĀ administrator and event coordinator isĀ Jackie Fowler.
She says businesses and individuals are asked to donate one hundred dollars to the campaign and that all donations will be split in half with the Cowichan Valley Basket Society for their family emergency fund.
Fowler explains how they came up with the name.
Fowler says they hope to sign up 100 participants though the campaign, which runs until December 3rd.
