Three fire stations battle big barn blaze on Glenora's McLay Road

About 30 firefighters from three different stations battled a blaze this afternoon atĀ theĀ Ellison’s Farm on Glenora’s McLay Road.

Firefighters from Duncan, Cowichan Bay and North CowichanĀ took on a fire that is believed toĀ have destroyedĀ a large amount of hay as well as multiple vehicles.

The chief of the Duncan FireĀ Hall is Mike McKinley.

The cost of the damage done by the blaze is not known as this point in time.
