Duncan's Warmland House ready for another extreme weather alert

The Cowichan Valley is officially under an extreme weather alert again as a result of mixed snow and rain that is expected for tonight and tomorrow.

In addition, there is a good chance the rains will stick around until Monday.

As a result of the notice, police have the authority to assist people at risk due to extreme weather conditions until the alert is cancelled.

The Warmland House in Duncan on 2579 Lewis St will be providing space for those who need it.
