Providence Farm won't be getting house on Ypres, likely to be demolished
A 1940s-era character house on Ypres Street in Duncan was supposed to be moved to Providence Farm, however, now it appears it will be demolished.
The owner decided to donate the building but before an official move could have been made it was vandalized by thieves that, according to a social media site, stripped all of the copper out of the building.
Providence Farm’s executive director is Karen Bittner.
Bittner says the house would have been used by helping hands and interns during the growing season.
