Crichton found guilty on eight counts
The verdict in the trial of a local physiotherapist facing numerous counts of sexual assault came down on Tuesday at the Duncan Supreme Court.
The Crown spokesperson for the Criminal Justice Branch is Gordon Comer.
Some charges were dropped for a variety of reasons including the death of one patient.
A sentencing hearing for Campbell Crichton will be decided in early January.
The former Cowichan Physiotherapy employee was charged in March of 2011 with five counts of sexual assault and the allegations involved five women between 1996 and June of 2009.
More charges were added after police asked other potential victims to speak up after Crichton’s arrest.
