Some business owners in downtown Duncan concerned about intersection work

There are some small business owners that are not looking forward to next year’s reconstruction of major intersections in downtown Duncan .

Mary Anne Hartley is a co-manager of the Duncan Business Improvement Area Society.

Hartley says if any huge problems come up…there should be a way to address them.

Hartley adds there will be signage and advertisements and there will always be access to every business located on Canada Avenue.

The work will be done on the Ingram/Canada intersection and Duncan/Queens intersection as well as along Canada Avenue…and is projected to start in February and end in May.
