North Cowichan eyeing managment plan for Bonsall Creek watershed

The Municipality of North Cowichan is putting together a plan to take advantage of an important local water resource.

Mayor Jon Lefebure says the plan will look at ways to improve water quality, access and control in the Bonsall Creek watershed.

He says the public voiced some of their concerns at a recent open house about the future of the watershed.

Lefebure says the plan will take a couple years to complete and is intended to develop a shared community vision for the project.
