Malahat crash stalls traffic Sunday

Witnesses say a car and motorcycle collided on the Malahat Sunday.

The incident happened between Mill Bay Road and Whittaker Road, three kilometres south of the Malahat Summit.

One person was taken to the hospital.

The incident was reported around 1:30 and southbound traffic was brought to a halt.

One northbound lane was open.

Drive BC is reporting the “hat” opened again at about 2:30.
