Maple Bay Beach Advisory Lifted

Maple Bay Beach is no longer subject to a beach advisory.

Island Health is reporting that recent testing has shown that the bacteria levels at the beach are satisfactory.

On May 15, the beach advisory was issued because the bacteria levels were above the acceptable level.
