Nanaimo RCMP hunting escapee

Nanaimo RCMP are the on the hunt for a man who escaped custody on Tuesday.

25 year old Alexander Ray Trinkwon had been arrested in connection with some recent break ins and was due in court December 24th.

Police say a dog team was brought in and picked up a track that died out near the Bowen Road and Buttertubs Marsh area.

Trinkwon was last seen wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt, and stocking feet.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
