New organic, curbside collection starting soon in Lake Cowichan

Starting next week, Lake Cowichan residents will be able to put kitchen waste out with the garbage.
New 80 litre bins and kitchen catcher kits, that were delivered to homes late last year, contain everything needed to start collecting food scraps.
Mayor Ross Forrest says a new truck will be making its first official rounds on Tuesday after six years of waiting.
