Pair busted in Langford also accused of fraud in Duncan

West Shore RCMP say they’ve arrested a pair of Lower Mainland men in connection with a fraud tied to Duncan.
RCMP say they got a call from staff at Superstore in Langdford last Thursday. The store’s loss prevention officer told police he recognized the men because they were suspected of fraudulent transactions at the Superstore location in Duncan.

So far the pair is facing 13 counts of fraud, but police say more charges could be coming.
Investigators say crooks are increasingly using fake cards tied to active accounts in the United States, where chips aren’t mandatory.
