CVRD looking into ways to recycle film plastic, glass

Film plastic and glass could soon be a part of recycling pickup after the CVRD carried out an experimental project in Honeymoon Bay and Mesachie Lake.

The manager of the Recycling and Waste Management Division is Tauseef Waraich.

He says collection bins were set up at post offices in those communities.

Waraich says it’s now up to the CVRD to figure out a cost efficient and environmentally-friendly way to potentially recycle Film plastic and glass in all the districts.
