New clues in disappearance of Crofton man

Nanaimo RCMP are slowly filling in the blanks in the disappearance of a 42-year-old man.

Jason Radmacher of Crofton hasn’t been seen since January 13th, as he walked along Fifth St. in Nanaimo near his workplace. Constable Gary O’Brien says they now know he boarded the 10:30am ferry in Departure Bay, and arrived in Horseshoe Bay at 12:15pm.

O’Brien says they have proof he used an ATM before leaving Nanaimo. He says Radmachers’s friends are worried because his sudden departure is very of character.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
