Islands Trust wants public input on proposed budget

The Islands Trust council wants to hear from residents about its proposed budget.
Chair Peter Luckham says the recommended budget for 2015-2016 is 7.18 million dollars. He says the council wants to make sure the services they are delivering is what people want.
Luckham says they are trying to achieve a zero per cent tax increase, but, there are a few exceptions. He says Bowen Island is a municipality so it has its own council, while Salt Spring Island will see an increase in taxes due to watershed management on the island.
