North Cow allows Maple Bay Marina to move fueling depot, plane dock

North Cowichan hasĀ granted rezoning to Maple Bay Marina to move its fueling and float plane dock to another location in the Bay.
Mayor Jon Lefebure says he believes the move willĀ give the marina more capacity; but that’s secondary to the main reason for the upgrade
There were concerns raisedĀ mostly about more large boathouses in Bird’s Eye Cove filling up the space the dock used to occupy.
