Province launches map to connect families with mental health services
Concerns about difficulties accessing mental health services for children and youth have prompted the province to launch a new online map.
Stephanie Cadieux is the Minister for Children and Family Development. She says they want to make it easier for families to find resources to help their children.
Cadieux says more than 29 thousand children in BC are currently getting community based mental health care.
The map is available through both the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Children and Family Development websites. Or, you can go straight there by clicking this link.
