School District 79 is looking for input on the calendar for the next three school years, although they’re not planning any significant changes.

The Board is proposing the District stick with a two week spring break. The exception would be next year, when the break comes up against Easter.

Chair Candace Spillsbury says people seem to have gotten used to the idea of longer breaks; something the province has only allowed for a few years.

The District is taking written submissions on the proposed calendar up until March 5th. There’s more information at sd79.bc.ca
