RCMP vehicle involved in series of accidents on TCH

Duncan/North Cowichan RCMP says there have been three accidents on the Trans Canada northbound, near Henry Rd in Chemainus this morning.

One involved a police vehicle, that was responding to an earlier collisions.

Sgt Chris Swain says RCMP are asking drivers to reduce their speed on all roads, which are being made treacherous because of the heavy rain.

Mainroad South Island is also saying that Cowichan Bay Road is closed due to flooding between Trans-Canada Highway and Tzouhalem Road.  Use Bench Road as the alternate route.
