RCMP looking for hit-and-run driver

RCMP are trying to track down a car and driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in Duncan late last week.

It happened around 1:20pm Thursday the 26th in the S curves on Indian Road.

According to North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP the car was going uphill and crossed the center line, side swiping a car coming down.

The car, described as a black or grey 2 door model – possibly a Honda Civic – was last seen heading toward the Glenora area.

RCMP say it has a smashed left tail light, and damage on the left side.

Anyone with information is asked to call the detachment at 250- 748-5522 or  Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 TIPS.

No one was injured.
