Industry Training Authority CEO coming to Duncan

If you are interested in a career in trades the VIU Cowichan Campus is the place to be Thursday.

The CEO of BC’s Industry Training Authority, Gary Herman will be speaking on trades as a careers and some of the latest rules on accreditation and training.

VIU has been working with the Duncan Cowichan Chamber of Commerce to put the event together.

Elizabeth Croft speaks for the chamber.  She says industries like LNG, oil and gas, and others need skilled tradespeople and the demand isn’t going away
