Fire Crews Extinguish Small Fire in North Cowichan

The North Cowichan Fire Department and the RCMP responded to a small fire this morning in an area behind the Cowichan Valley School District offices.

Witnesses say the fire was in a field and was not close to any buildings.

There no word on how the fire may have started.
