Overall, the NDP is leading the race with 544,083 votes. The Liberals are second with 427,889 votes while the Greens have 184,921 votes

Here’s a look at what’s going on in our local ridings.

Cowichan Valley:

*Sonia Furstenau (Greens) – 8,631
Rob Douglas (NDP) – 7,550
Tanya Kaul (Liberals) – 3,032

Nanaimo-North Cowichan:

*Doug Routley (NDP) – 7,856
Chris Istace (Greens) – 5,228
Duck (don) Paterson (Liberals) – 3,554

Nanaimo:

*Sheila Malcolmson (NDP) – 8,041
Kathleen Jones (Liberals) – 3,498
Lia Marie Constance Versaevel (Greens) – 3,705
