Islands Trust welcoming Salt Spring incorporation study

The Islands Trust isn’t taking sides when it comes to incorporating Salt Spring Island, and it says it welcomes the decision to study options on whether the Island should become a municipality, or follow some other model.

The province is putting 120-thousand dollars into the incorporation study, which will include public consultations.
