School District 68 finds new superintendent, CEO

John Blain has been appointed as Superintendent and CEO of the Nanaimo Ladysmith Public School District.

Blain was Deputy Superintendent until Dave Hutchinson resigned, when he stepped up to fill the role of Acting Superintendent.

Blain has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, and a Masters in Administration and Leadership.

This will be his 37th year working in the field of education.
