North Cow, Duncan looking at amalgamation, boundary restructure again

The City of Duncan and Municipality of North Cowichan are looking into amalgamation and boundary alignment again.

Duncan mayor Phil Kent says the issue was brought up at a recent Council meeting.

Mayor Jon Lefebure says North Cowichan Council had a similar conversation the last time they got together.

Residents voted in favour of exploring different possibilities at the municipal elections last fall.
