SD68 ratifies decision to reopen Cedar Secondary in 2016

Cedar Secondary will be reopening in 2016.

Board Chair Steve Rae says that decision was ratified by the Nanaimo Ladysmith School Board on Wednesday night, in a 6-3 vote.

Rae says some work will need to be done inside the building before it can be reopened as a secondary school again.

The Board also approved providing a bus next year for Cedar-area students attending school in Ladysmith.
