Thousands head to Mill Bay area for rowing regatta

Over three thousand people, including 16 hundred athletes, are invading the Mill Bay area this weekend for a rowing regatta.

The races are taking place on the waterfront at Brentwood College…which is hosting the event. The school’s head of rowing is Debbie Sage.

Sage says the best place to check out the races is on campus…in an area called the plaza.

She says the event is a great boost for the local economy as well…with hotels seeing a big spike in business for the weekend.
