Nanaimo-Cowichan MP Jean Crowder will feel some heat on Saturday in Duncan that she may have never faced before in Ottawa.
The retiring long-time politician will be toasted and then roasted at the Cowichan Golf and Country Club.
Organizer Rhoda Taylor says the event is a fundraiser for Volunteer Cowichan. She says there is a reason why Crowder is so beloved in the community.
The event is almost sold out and ticket information can be found at the Juice FM Facebook page.
