Two facing charges after traffic stop leads to drug bust

RCMP have released more details of a drug bust April 16th.

A South Island Traffic Services officer spotted a van speeding near Chemainus.

He tried to pull the van over, but the driver swerved across the median and started heading the wrong way in the northbound lanes. RCMP broke off the chase, but caught the van when the driver went up a dead end road.

Police say they seized drugs, stolen property and a gun with amunition.

25 year old Stephanie Joan McMillan of Surrey and 24 year old Parker Allan Adams of New Westminster are now facing charges.
