The rider of a moped was airlifted to hospital after a collision on Salt Spring Island over the weekend.
While traveling northbound on Lower Ganges Road, the moped crossed the centre line and collided with a pickup truck heading southbound.
The rider of the moped was visiting the island from her family from Alberta.
She was airlifted to hospital in Victoria with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
