MS Society in Cowichan Valley continues to raise money ahead of big walk

The big walk in the Cowichan Valley is still a couple of weeks away, however, that doesn’t mean you can’t help out the MS Society this weekend.

Coordinator Vanessa Martin says there will be a BBQ on Saturday at the Country Grocer in Cobble Hill from 11am to 4pm.

She says the MS Society’s Duncan office has been a great place for people dealing with the disease.

The fundraising goal for this year’s Scotiabank MS Walk is $130,000. It takes place at the Cowichan Sportsplex on May 24th.
