Wanted man nabbed by RCMP in Duncan

North Cowichan/ Duncan RCMP have nabbed a wanted man with a violent criminal history.

Corporal Darren Lagan with Island District RCMP says 35-year-old Nathan Myles was arrested just before 4:00pm today.

Lagan says before police moved in to make the arrest, the occupants of a nearby daycare were moved to a safe location just in case.

He says Myles was arrested without incident and is now in custody.

Myles is facing numerous charges including harassment, unlawful confinement, assault with a weapon, assault causing
bodily harm, two counts of assault, and four counts of uttering threats.

A date for a court appearance hasn’t been set yet.
