Shawnigan Lake RCMP say a Wednesday morning accident that tied up traffic on the Malahat, involved a pair of trucks.
A logging truck and dump truck collided around 6:45am at Trans Canada Highway and South Shawnigan Lake Road.
Both were travelling south, and both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic on the Malahat was reduced to one lane alternating for about three and a half hours.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and RCMP are asking witnesses to contact the Shawnigan Lake detachment at 250-743-5514.
